The experience that surprised me the most was the Cacio e Pepe. From having it a lot a home and then trying it here, it was different and better then in the US. Also, it surprised me a lot how when we are done with dinner, we have to go up to pay whereas in the US the waiter hands the table the check. All the meals I have had in Florence so far have been so good and I can tell that the food here is much more fresh. I have tried two different pizza places this week and they differed in the way that one’s dough was extremely undercooked and the other one was crispier and had more cheese on it. I am still planning on trying other pizza places and finding one that I love.
