Over this past week I was able to experience multiple food excursions ranking from entree meals to gelato. Getting to experience the feeling of freshly baked bread, rich olive oil, and decadent tomato sauces through the cobblestone streets of Florence excited my tastebuds in a completely different way that food in the states has. I got to experience pizza once this week in Mercado central and it was a margarita pizza and it was too delicious. I love the authentic taste of the tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella anti taste completely different from pizza like dominos and papa johns. The experience that surprised me the most was trying the gnocchi. This was my first time having gnocchi and it was amazing to say the least.
