Democracy undermines the interests of the whole, leads to demagogy and bossism, and threatens the common good.
We know that Athens was democratic and Sparta was aristocratic. That's what we learn in school, because that is how it really seems. Until we remember that Athens also had its slaves, just as Sparta had its helots.
Democracy is not an abstract notion. It is a force driven by the people to bring prosperity and quality in their lives.
If we turn against the institutions of multi-party parliamentary democracy, then something else will happen in Hungary instead... Every other system apart from parliamentary democracy necessarily leads to the loss of individual freedom.
