After selecting a commission, users can click on circles to learn about commissioners (light blue, yellow, and dark blue circles) and the work that they have done in particular commissions (gray circles).

Click a circle generates a pop-out profile of the selected commissioner/commission. Using information from the PEU database, the Historical Archives of the European Union, the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History, the Barbara Sloan EU Document Collection, Wikipedia, and elsewhere, the dashboard presents images and Commission-specific bios for all commissioners who have served since 1958. Commission descriptions (for gray circles) and commissioner bios (for colored circles) are drafted by AI (GPT-5) in response to stringent prompts. Humans associated with the PL2 lab have checked and, when necessary, corrected AI-generated descriptions and bios. Still, descriptions and bios may contain errors. The dashboard is intended as a jumping-off point for deeper research, not a final destination.
