About Diplomacy Lab

Welcome to Diplomacy Lab – a collaboration between the US Department of State and JMU. Launched in 2013 by the US Department of State, Diplomacy Lab aims to “course-source” research related to foreign affairs by leveraging the expertise the expertise and enthusiasm of students and faculty from universities across the country. This initiative allows students to directly contribute and impact the foreign policy making process, while enabling the State Department to work with a diverse range of disciplines. At JMU, projects offered under this initiative are open to students from all majors.
