JMU Through Living Color Exhibit Now Open

jmuthroughlivingcolor9In honor of Black History Month, the Student Government Association’s Diversity Committee and African, African American, and Diaspora Studies Department presents JMU Through Living Color, an exhibition of photographs and texts dedicated to sharing the lived experiences of Black students on campus at James Madison University. Please join us as we celebrate Black History Month by honoring the diverse experiences of our Dukes.

This exhibit is a must see for every JMU student to better understand the lived experiences of our students and to contemplate how we can create a more inclusive campus for all of our students.

JMU students who contributed to the exhibition: Milan Burton, Christine Donald, Makeda Fikermariam, Takira Fitzgerald, Jakia Hill, Chloe Jenkins, Brie Lewis, Lawrence Marfo, Dionna Parker, Cayla Parson, Alessia Ratcliff, Carleen Scott, Kyel Towler, Kendallee Walker, Chelsea Ward.
