Post 4: I chose guided meditation as my technique to demonstrate mindfulness. I would not say that meditation has affected my life drastically, because two weeks is not long enough to see the long-term benefits of it. However, I have noticed that I am less irritable and do not get mad quite as easily. I have not noticed any change in my worrying or stressing, but my mood has gotten less on edge. I am going to keep doing guided meditation, because I feel that if I continue it my constant stress will hopefully decrease. I am excited to see what this technique can do for me in the future. I would like to try yoga once my schedule is less busy and hectic. This summer I plan to begin doing yoga at home twice a week.
