The technique that I chose was guided meditation and, for the most part, it was relaxing. I did a twenty minute session using a video from YouTube for the guided part of the technique. I definitely think it could have gone better. It was really hard to get into it at first and even when I got more focused my mind kept wandering off on a tangent about classwork I needed to do later. despite this, I did feel better afterwards. it was almost like a short nap and my body did feel relaxed; my mind wasn’t nearly as relaxed, but maybe it will get better as I do more sessions. the rest of the day went well as I was more focused overall than I normally would have been.
