The technique I chose for this activity was cross-stitching. My first experience with cross-stitching was similar to the last time I cross-stitched, a mix of relaxation and a lot of squinting. It is very easy to prick yourself while cross-stitching as well and in my first experience a box of band aids were on stand-by. The session was about an hour and a half long total, I felt pretty calm in the process of cross-stitching. I’d like to think my body and mind were at ease, but that can be quite difficult when you have other assignments preoccupying it half the time. The remainder of my day was a bit better and it was a lot easier to get the rest of my assignments done because I was not as stressed like I was from the beginning.
