Wednesday July 10, 2013: Casey, Natalie, and Dr. Caran hosted 29 middle and high school teachers throughout Virginia for an all day Chemistry Demonstration Workshop. The day started with a keynote presentation on the importance of demonstrations from Dr. Jim Wightman (VT Chem, Emeritus). Participants then received hands on experience in the lab doing demonstrations. They also collaborated on the variations of the presentation as well as the execution of the demonstrations in the classroom setting.
